Jazz a' Paris Jazz a' Paris 2 Centerstage Chicago Slide Show
For nearly twenty years Jimmy Bennington has developed a musical atmosphere that showcases his collaborators talents and places the drum in the role of timekeeper, colorist, and conductor. In keeping with the traditions of Jazz, he employs strong elements of Blues and Folk music to explore, propel, cajole, and inspire musicians and audiences alike. Based in Chicago, after long periods in Texas and the West Coast, Bennington performs as sideman or band leader with his group, Colour and Sound, appearing in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and South America.
